Consultation Fees

There is a standard treatment fee of $75 per session for horses and dogs, this includes return mileage up to 20 kilometres. Fees for other animals available on request.

A ‘group discount’ of $10 per animal, is offered, when treating 3 or more animals at the same location. We also offer special discount rates for riding school horses & amp; ponies.

We have a 'no treatment, no fee' policy. Should your animal after assessing, have no treatment need or be deemed unsuitable for treatment, we charge only a nominal attendance fee of $25.

PLEASE NOTE: The attendance only fee may still be subject to an extra kilometre charge, see below.

Equipment Hire

In some circumstances it is necessary to loan you electrotherapy equipment to use between therapy visits, to assist the recovery process. This also helps to keep your costs down as you can carry out the prescribed treatment on a daily basis, without paying consultation fees each time.

  • The cost of hiring equipment is $55 per week.

Insurance

Treatment costs may well be covered by your animal's insurance plan. Check this with your vet or insurance company.

Extra Mileage

For treatment and consultancy over 30 kilometres return from our base on the North Shore in Auckland, we charge the following supplement:

  • $3.50 per additional 10 kilometres

PLEASE NOTE: In exceptional circumstances, the fees listed above may be subject to change. If this is the case, you will be informed of this before treatment commences.
